WELLFIN is created to address the need of more accessibility for women to test for Breast cancer. Since “Breast cancer is the most common cancer among Canadian women, it is the 2nd leading cause of death from cancer in Canadian women.” (canadian cancer society). Also considering the stakeholders included in the process of women testing and getting the proper treatment as shown in the ecosystem.

By conducting interviews with experts in the field, to know more about the testing process and user needs during this and surveys directed to our demographic, to get a general idea of how well women know about proper testing methods and awareness among the different age groups,
From the research done, certain needs are highlighted and important to address with the product. Among the main concerns for the users were the reliability of the results, misinformation, confusing processes, and distress mainly after testing. These functioned as a guide for WELLFIN's development.
